Hurt Today? We'll See You Today.
You should not have to wait days to be seen for a hand, wrist, elbow, or shoulder injury. Through JOI Now, Dr. Graham accommodates walk-in patients — even on short notice. If you're in pain, call ahead or come in. We will find a way to get you seen.
Clinic hours: Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday. Note: Dr. Graham is in surgery on Mondays and Thursdays. Walk-ins on those days will be triaged and scheduled at the earliest available time.
Surgery in the Office.
Wide Awake.
Home Within the Hour.
For many of the most common hand and upper extremity procedures, there is simply no need for a hospital, an operating room, or general anesthesia. Dr. Graham performs these procedures right here in the office, using only local anesthesia — the same kind used at the dentist.
You remain comfortable and awake throughout. The procedure takes 15–20 minutes. Most patients are back home within an hour of walking through the door.

Your Surgeon
Meet R. David Graham, MD
Dr. Graham is a board-certified, fellowship-trained hand, upper extremity, and microvascular surgeon delivering subspecialty orthopaedic care across the greater Jacksonville area. His training provided intensive immersion in the full spectrum of upper limb pathology — from nerve and tendon injuries to complex joint reconstruction and microsurgical technique.
Dr. Graham is the highest-volume wrist fracture, wrist arthroplasty, and elbow arthroplasty surgeon in Northeast Florida — a distinction built on both surgical volume and a commitment to delivering the most current techniques available. Dr. Graham works directly with orthopaedic industry partners — so when better implants and techniques become available, his patients benefit first.
His operating privileges at Baptist Beaches Hospital and Jacksonville Beach Surgery Center, and integration with the Jacksonville Orthopaedic Institute ensure coordinated, evidence-based care for both emergent trauma and carefully planned elective procedures.

I wish I could give Dr. Graham 10 stars, he is one in a million! I am 71 years old with severe osteoporosis. I fell off my bike and broke my right wrist. It was truly a blessing that I found Dr. Graham! He has a wonderful bedside manner and answered all my fears and concerns about inserting a plate in my wrist.
